Accessibility

Our approach to making ACSONI’s website accessible, and how to request help.

Draft for client review.

Last updated: 5 November 2026

Our commitment

ACSONI wants its website to be accessible and useful to as many people as possible.

We aim to provide clear information and straightforward ways to learn about our work, request support and get involved.

Accessibility standard

Our aim is to work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

The website has not yet undergone a comprehensive accessibility assessment. We therefore do not currently claim full conformance with that standard.

Using this website

We aim to support:

  • Clear headings and understandable language.
  • Keyboard access to navigation and interactive features.
  • Readable text and suitable colour contrast.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images.
  • Clear labels and instructions for forms.
  • Layouts that adapt to different screen sizes.

If a feature prevents you from accessing information or contacting us, please let us know.

Areas requiring further review

Our accessibility review will include keyboard operation, screen-reader use, text resizing, colour contrast, form feedback and mobile navigation.

Third-party content, including YouTube videos and Google Maps, may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control. Captions, transcripts and accessible alternatives for media and documents also need to be checked.

Requesting information or reporting a problem

If you need information in another format or encounter an accessibility barrier, contact us:

Please tell us which page or feature is affected, what you were trying to do and the format or assistance you need. If helpful, include the browser or assistive technology you use. You do not need to disclose a disability or medical information.

We will consider your request and discuss a suitable way to help.

Keeping this statement updated

We will review this statement as the website develops, accessibility testing is completed and users report issues.
